Sales of Latvia’s Dailrade Koks furniture maker grow 6.8% in 2016

Latvia’s furniture maker Dailrade Koks last year posted EUR 19.408 million in sales, up 6.9 percent from a year ago, while the company’s profit increased several times to EUR 207,417, according to Firmas.lv business database, writes LETA/BNS.

The company’s management said that last year, especially the second half of the year had been successful. The company managed to increase sales and profit. The company’s exports and sales in the domestic market increased, while material and labor costs rose insignificantly, ensuring a growth of profit.


In the coming years Dailrade Koks plans to invest in improving energy efficiency and new equipment.


As reported, in 2015 Dailrade Koks posted EUR 18.15 mln in sales, up 2% from a year ago, while profit declined several times to EUR 7,946.


Founded in 1993, Dailrade Koks belongs to two Latvian individuals. The company's share capital is EUR 1.5 mln.
