Canada's Shopify buys Lithuaina's Oberlo

Print versionCanada's electronic commerce giant Shopify has purchased Lithuanian startup Oberlo for 15 million US dollars (about EUR 13.8 mln), Tomas Slimas, Oberlo co-founder, confirmed to LETA/BNS.

"We can confirm that we have handed over nearly all of our communication to Shopify," Slimas told.
The deal was finalized on April 28, Valitas Capitals Partners said in its newsletter.
Oberlo provides commodities cataloging services, which enable operators of electronic shops to resell chosen items without buying them.
