Port of Pärnu signed the LNG bunkering agreement with LNG Gorskaya Overseas OÜ

Estonia-based LNG Gorskaya Overseas OÜ has signed an letter of intent with the Port of Pärnu to set liquefied natural gas (LNG) center in the harbors aquatorium, the companies representative informed BC.
The LNG center will consist of newbuilding LNG floating
storage with a maximal capacity of 5,500 m3, the bunkering vessel with a volume
of tanks of 1.300 m3, a specialized pier and other port equipment necessary for
storage, bunkering of vessels, gas station for tracks and use of LNG in the
municipal purposes. Commissioning of the center is planned for December, 2018.
The Port of Pärnu is now the fifth Baltic harbor which has
signed the LNG bunkering agreement with LNG Gorskaya Overseas OÜ on the organization of infrastructure for LNG
storage and bunkering. This project called "Aurora" have now attracted the Passenger port of
Riga, Mõntu Port, Port of Lübeck, and the Liepaja Oil terminal.
