Print versionLatvia`s and Lithuania's new car sales rose at one of the fastest rates in the EU in the ten months through October, figures from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) showed on Thursday.

Latvia posted a 20.4% increase to 13,900. New passenger car
registrations in Lithuania jumped by 20.2% in January through October y-o-y to
reach 17,400 units. Larger increases were only registered in Cyprus and Hungary.
Estonia recorded a 10% growth to 19,300 units.
Across the EU, new car registrations rose by 7.2% to 12.3 mln
units.
