Hungary's low-cost airline Wizz Air is planning to launch flights between Vilnius and the French city of Grenoble in mid-January 2017, informs LETA/BNS.

The company has said that it will operate the service once a week.

Wizz Air is starting flights from Vilnius to Nice, in France, in early August, and to Bari, in Italy, and Reykjavik, in Iceland, on Oct. 31.

The airline in late March launched a service between the Lithuanian seaside resort of Palanga and London.

Wizz Air currently operates flights from Lithuania's three international airports -- in Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga-- to destinations in 14 countries.
