Paulig Estonia boosts revenue, profit in 2015

Print versionThe coffee seller Paulig Coffee Estonia AS increased its revenue by 7% year on year to 35.3 million euros in 2015, while the net profit surged 35.5% to 4.5 million euros, informs LETA/BNS.

Of revenue, 48% resulted from sales in Estonia, 41% from sales in Lithuania and 11% from sales in Latvia. Retail sales of coffee in the Baltic countries accounted for 86% of revenue, it appears from the annual report.
The increase in revenue resulted both from bigger amounts sold and price changes on the world market, the management board said.
The company's operating expenses grew 16% year over year. Wage costs inclusive of taxes totaled 1.5 million euros, marking a reduction of 8% from 2014. The number of employees decreased by three to 45.
