Estonian fashion company Sangar bought Swedish clothing business

Print versionEstonian men's dress shirts and accessories producer Sangar bought the Swedish Oscar of Sweden company and brand, which is represented in the Nordic countries, the Netherlands, England, the US and Canada, Äripäev.ee/LETA reports.

Sangar announced that by buying the Swedish company and brand, it expands into new markets, where there are much bigger opportunities to promote the Sangar trademark and to sell products.
Sangar had a turnover of EUR 4.3 million last year, Oscar of Sweden 4.5 million. The acquired company owns trademarks "Oscar of Sweden" and "1949". Sangar's sub-brands are "Sangar Executive", "Sangar City" and "Optimist".
Sangar produces men's dress shirts in Estonia since 1956.
