US insurance giant to create hundreds jobs in Lithuania

Print versionAccording to website vz.lt, US insurance giant AIG is going to establish 400 new jobs in Vilnius by the end of 2015. AIG customer service centre in Vilnius will provide services to foreign markets, reports LETA/ELTA.

According to the data of the State Social Insurance Fund, Lithuanian branch of AIG Europe Limited showed little activity in 2014, however on 1 January 2015 it employed 36 people.
It was announced on business social networking website Linkedin that AIG office in Lithuania was looking or 16 more employees. They will be providing services to French, Dutch, German, Greek, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Finish speaking countries.
