Laima Chocolate Museum receives nearly 100,000 visitors in three years

Over the past three years, the chocolate museum of Latvia's leading sweets producer Laima has received nearly 100,000 visitors from Latvia and more than 50 other countries of the world, the museum's head Liene Skadina told LETA.

"The museum has received nearly 100,000 visitors over the past three years. We are very glad when he museum is chosen as the venue for special celebrations - it has hosted 551 unforgettable birthdays and 63 weddings, and more than 30% of visitors have also attended the creative workshop to become true chocolate making experts," the head of the Laima Chocolate Museum said, adding that employees are the museum's greatest asset.


As the museum marks its third anniversary on December 18, its visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history of Laima chocolate and production traditions in a special festive atmosphere.


Next week, the museum is scheduled to host a number of Christmas events for children, while its creative workshop will be open to visitors who want to learn the decoration of gingerbread cookies.
