Food industry fair Riga Food 2016 opens in Kipsala

Print versionRiga Food 2016, the largest international food industry fair in the Baltic countries, opens at the Kipsala Exhibition Hall today, the organizers told LETA.

President Raimonds Vejonis, Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis, Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs will participate in the opening ceremony.
Riga Food 2016 will run today through
September 10. This year, the fair will bring together 700 participants from 37
countries.
Riga Food is organized by the BT1
international exhibitions company, Agriculture Ministry, Institute of
Agricultural Resources and Economics, Latvian Technological Center, Latvian
Rural Advisory and Training Center, EEN Latvija, Chefs' Club, Latvian
Bartenders' Federation, Diplomatic Economic Club Latvia, and others.
