Symposium “Economy, Business & Finance – 2016»” was held in Jurmala

Organizer - Latvian Institute IRIS-ALKONA - traditionally receives in July scientists, researchers, academic staff, as well as businessmen and practitioners. The main purpose: to share their research and practical (professional) views, to discuss topical issues in economics, business and finance.

The plenary session was opened by Yuri Spiridonov, Minister of Finance Advisor who spoke about the changes in the tax policy of Latvia in the EU. Representative of the Ministry of Education and Science Laura Treimane devoted her report to innovation policy of our country and Leszek Dzyawgo a professor of the Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland) drew attention to the issue of ecological evolution financial business. Professor, Dr. Neven Vrcek presented his report about Cloud Computing Application and Strategic Advantages for Enterprises and Organizations.


The following days, the work will be held in parallel sessions.

 

According to the chairman of the organizing committee, Professor Natalia Konovalova, it is not just a meeting, it is a place where joint projects and long-term cooperation are born.

 

The symposium will finish its work on July 9th.
