First “Eurasian Week” to be held in Belarus

12-15 May 2015, Minsk will host the first “Eurasian Week”, an international event designed to bring the idea of integration of integrations and common economic space “from Lisbon to Vladivostok” on the Eurasian continent one step closer towards its practical implementation, reported BC the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Latvia.

“Eurasian Week” will be held under the motto “Integration Lighthouse: a vector for strengthening of good-neighborliness, investment and economic liberalization, synchronization of measures for export development”.


The list of invitees includes representatives from the EAEC and the CIS member-states, the leadership of international and intergovernmental organizations, foreign officials and business circles, members of the diplomatic corps.


A plenary session “Integration of Integrations – a path towards free trade from Lisbon to Vladivostok” will stage a main forum for discussion of ongoing integration processes and cooperation between integration associations.


“Eurasian Week” will also include Belarusian Industrial Forum which will showcase trade and investment potential of the Eurasian Economic Union member-states and other integration organizations.


The first “Eurasian Week” will result in adoption of a joint address to the member-states of major integration associations on the Eurasian continent.
