Estonia presents its best tastes at Grüne Woche 2015

Estonia participates for the 22nd time in the international food fair Grüne Woche 2015 that starts in Berlin on January 16, where it introduces the best products of its food producers, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

Estonia's 120-square-meter exposition is organized in cooperation with the Estonian Ministry of Agriculture and Estonian Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce.

 

In design of the stand as well as in the menu offered, the main focus is on what Estonian forests offer and on game meat.

 

"Estonia's best tastes and many well-known food products are represented. The exhibition takes into account the German consumer tastes and expectations of natural and interesting food, "said the Head of Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce Roomet Sõrmus.

 

Estonian stand's menu offers Grüne Woche visitors for example reindeer meat grilled sausages with Põltsamaa mustard and rye bread, moose burger in rye bread cover with bacon, horseradish sauce and salted cucumber; hunter's soup with rufous milkcap, cold smoked moose fillet etc.


The visitors are also offered Estonian cheese, cheese curds, butter, fish products, honey, jams, sweets, teas, wild berry juices, quail eggs, rye bread, light and dark beer, natural apple juice, liqueurs Old Tallinn and Kristallkümmel, Põhjaka Astelpajunaps, Moe Organic Vodka and much more.

 

International Agricultural Fair Grüne Woche takes place on 16-25th January in Berlin.
