Insurer MetLife to serve Latvian, Lithuanian clientele out of Polish offices

Print versionFor its clientele in Latvia and Lithuania, the life insurance company MetLife from now on will be working out of its offices in Poland, informs LETA.

Since 2005, the company had operated in Latvia as a branch of the Polish company MetLife Towarzystwo Ubezpieczen na Zycie i Reasekuracji Spolka Akcyjna, or in short, MetLife TUnZiR.
The move is being made in accord with European Union (EU) agreements on rights to offer business services anywhere in the EU.
MetLife points out that its professional team – the move to Poland notwithstanding – will continue all services for its clients in a multitude of languages, also Latvian and Lithuanian.
