BTA generated almost LTL 76 mln of insurance premiums in 5 months

Print versionDuring the first five months of 2014, Lithuanian non-life insurance company BTA generated almost LTL 76 million (EUR 22 million) of insurance premiums, while the volume of written gross premiums amounted to LTL 40 million (EUR 12 million), informs LETA/ELTA.

"Based on preliminary data, the profit of the first six months will amount to LTL 14.5 million (EUR 4.2 million). Our aim of this year is to adapt to conditions prevailing in the market at present and to maintain the balance between profit generation and increase in sales," says Tadeus Podvorski, Director at BTA Insurance Company SE Lithuanian Branch.
At present BTA successfully operates in Poland, Lithuania and Estonia, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain and Spain.
