Estonian state budget tax revenue grew by 12.7% in March

According to the Estonian Finance Ministry, the tax revenue collected by the state budget amounted to 379.6 million euros in March 2014, which is an increase of 12.7% as compared to the same time last year, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

In the first quarter, 23.2% of the tax revenue plan of the whole year was fulfilled.

 

The March increase was contributed to by almost all taxes, while the increase of social tax and VAT revenues were 9.9 and 13.7% respectively.

 

The March tax collection was affected by income tax returns made by the state to people.


Social tax income growth accelerated to 9.9% in March and the collection formed 178.5 mln euros.

 

Excise tax revenues grew by 9.2% in a year.
