35,000 Estonians have problems with consumer loans

Print versionAccording to Krediidiinfo data, there are 34,706 people in Estonia who have payment problems connected to speed loans or consumer loans, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

19,671 people have one valid payment problem and 15,035 people have more than two valid payment problems.
All bigger consumer loan companies cooperate with Krediidiinfo and publish the information on debts in the payment problem registry.
The registry contains delayed payments of companies and private individuals that amount together with interests and punitive interests at least to 30 euros and are at last 45 days in debt since the payment deadline.
