ERGO Insurance posts EUR 112 mln in premiums in Baltics in January-September

Print versionAccording to an IFRS-based assessment, ERGO Insurance Group posted EUR 112 million (LVL 78.7 million) in premiums in the Baltic States in the first nine months of 2013, 5% more than in the respective period in 2012, informs Nozare.lv/LETA.

ERGO customers in the Baltic countries were paid 5.2% more in insurance claims – EUR 63.3 million (LVL 44.5 million), Nozare.lv learned from the company.
ERGO Insurance Group earned EUR 3.3 million (LVL 2.3 million) in profit in the Baltic States in January-September 2013.
In Latvia, ERGO Insurance Group achieved EUR 15.7 million (LVL 11 million) in premiums in non-life insurance – a 7.5% increase, and EUR 13.9 million (LVL 9.8 million) in life and health insurance – a 27.5% increase.
