Bank of Lithuania hopes for close coop with National Bank of Kazakhstan

Print versionOn Thursday, Member of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania Marius Jurgilas met Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Grigori Marchenko. During the meeting, the cooperation between the Bank of Lithuania and National Bank of Kazakhstan in the sphere of the finance was being discussed, reported LETA/ ELTA.

According to Jurgilas, the relations of Lithuania and Kazakhstan in the sphere of economy were developing and, as a result, the central banks of the countries needed to develop the close relations with one another as well.
"As the bilateral relations in the sphere of economy are developing, the space for the cooperation in the sphere of the finance is emerging. I hope that this visit will be a step towards the development of the cooperation," said the member of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania.
