The main reason for increase was collection of corporate income tax while VAT collection has also accelerated.
In the first five months of the year, 40% of the annual plan of taxes was collected and the year-on-year growth was 10% to 1.99 billion euros.
This year's income tax returns for private individuals amounted to 97 mln euros, by around 3 million euros less than last year.
