Estonia collected 6.9 bln kroons of tax revenue in January

Print versionAccording to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, 6.9 billion kroons of tax revenue was collected to the State Treasury in January 2010, writes LETA/Postimees Online. This is 11.2% of all tax revenue planned in the state budget for the entire year.

The tax revenue amounted to 5.9 billion kroons in January 2009, then it formed 8.9% of the annual plan.
In January 2010, the social tax revenue amounted to 2.4 billion kroons – 8.8% of the amount planned for the entire year’s budget.
The value added tax revenue in January amounted to 2.2 billion kroons – 11.7% of the amount planned in the budget.
Private individuals’ income tax collection in January amounted to 445.6 mln kroons, 13.8% of the annual plan. Corporate persons’ income tax amounted to 251.2 mln kroons, 10.4% of the annual plan.
