Baltic M&A market sees 13 major transactions in Q3

Print versionIn the third quarter of this year a total of 13 major merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions were carried out in the Baltic countries, it appears from figures available from the London-based analysis company Mergermarket, cites LETA/BNS.

Most of the transactions or seven took place in Estonia, while Latvia and Lithuania each saw three of such transactions.
Mergermarket only knows the value of two of such transactions and both of these were carried out in September in Lithuania. Coca-Cola Company bought half of the Lithuanian beverages maker Neptuno vandenys UAB from Coca-Cola HBC for 10 mln euros. In addition, the Swedish gambling company Betsson bought the Lithuanian Losimu Strategine Grupe for 6 mln euros.
