EUR 189.8 mln paid into Tallinn’s budget in April

In April 2016, 189.8 million euros of revenue was paid into the treasury of the City of Tallinn, which makes up 33.8% of the full-year target without financing activities, informs LETA/BNS.

Tax receipts amounted to 126 million euros, 34.5% of the 12-month target. The sum includes 109.5 million euros in personal income tax (33.6% of the amount projected for the year) and 3.9 million euros in local taxes (35%), the municipal press service said.

 

Economic activity by institutions of the city generated 24.3 million euros, which equals 38.9% of the amount planned for 12 months.

 

Expenditures made by the city amounted to 169.6 million euros, 29.1% of the sum planned to be spent during the year. Investments totaled 4.7 million euros.

 

The city's treasury had free assets totaling 73.4 million euros at the end of April.
