Elering's profit grows in Q2

Print versionEstonian electricity main grid company Elering announced that its second quarter profit was 0.6 million euros versus a loss of 1.1 million euros at the same time last year, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The company's turnover was 18.8 million euros, by 2.7 million euros more than at the same time last year.
Elering's finance manager Peep Soone said that the second quarter was better than forecast. The domestic transmission of electricity grew by 2.5% as compared to the same time last year, mainly thanks to colder weather.
