Price of natural gas increases in Estonia from September

Print versionEstonia’s largest natural gas supplier Eesti Gaas raises on Wednesday the price of gas for home consumers and small-time consumers have to pay 10.3 kroons per cubic metre instead of the earlier 8.8 kroons, LETA/Äripäev.ee reports.

Eesti Gaas said that while last year, the price of fuel oils at the world market enabled to reduce the price of has for home consumers on two occasions, this year the basis of purchase conditions of natural gas have been with an increasing trend.
Clients who consume up to 200 cubic metres of gas will starting today pay 10.3 kroons instead of the earlier 8.8 kroons; those cosuming 200-750 cubic metres pay 7.3 instead of 6.2 and those consuming over 750 cubic metres pay 6.1 kroons instead of the earlier 5.2 kroons per cubic meter.
