BC, Vilnius, 18.05.2020.Print version
A new cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's gas company Novatek arrived in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda on Monday, informed LETA/BNS.
Klaipedos Nafta, the terminal's operator, told the Coral Favia tanker had delivered around 10,000 cubic meters of LNG.
The Coral Favia came from Russia's Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk where Novatek has a LNG facility, according to the vessel tracking websites Marinetraffic.com and Myshiptracking.com.
This marks the 33rd such delivery in the current gas year that started last October. Twelve large LNG cargoes of 138,000 cubic meters on average from Norway's Equinor and two large gas carriers from the United States have since come to the Lithuanian port, too.
