Latvian gasoline imports up 1.3% in seven months

Print versionDuring the first seven months of 2016, Latvian gasoline imports increased 1.3 % from the same period in 2015, while diesel fuel imports dropped 5 % year-on-year, the Central Statistical Bureau reported, cites LETA.

In January-July 2016, Latvia imported 182.011 mln
liters of gasoline and 834,200 tons of diesel fuel.
Latvia imported EUR 57.704 mln worth of
gasoline in the first seven months of this year, down 25.7% from January-July
2015, and the value of diesel fuel imports fell 35.9 % year-on-year to EUR
284.828 mln.
In the first seven months of 2016, Latvia also
imported 1,100 tons of fuel oil, which was by 4.7% more than a year before.
The value of fuel oil imports dropped 15.1 % year-on-year to EUR 303,000.
In the first seven months of 2015, Latvia
imported 179.639 mln liters of gasoline, 878,400 tons of diesel fuel and 1,100
tons of fuel oil.
