Lietuvos Energija's net profit rises 9% in 9 months

Lithuania's state-owned energy group Lietuvos Energija (Lithuanian Energy) said that its comparable consolidated net profit, adjusted for one-off factors, for the first three quarters rose by 9.1% year-on-year to reach an all-time high of 89.5 million euros, informs LETA/BNS.

The group's net profit for January through September came in at 63.9 million euros. The net profit for the same period of 2014, at 106.1 million euros, included a discount on gas prices, it said in its performance report for the three quarters.

 

Lietuvos Energija's revenue, excluding revenue from gas transmission and distribution operations acquired by the group last year, fell by 2.4%.

 

Its total consolidated revenue, including the newly-acquired gas operations, increased by 19.4% to 761.9 million euros.

 

EBITDA for the three quarters increased by 5.6% year-on-year to 166.2 million euros.


The group's investments this year amounted to 98.7 million euros, a rise of 12.8% on the same time last year.
