Inter Rao – Lithuania's 4th largest taxpayers in energy sector in 2014

Print versionIn 2014, the company Inter Rao Lietuva was once again ranked among the largest tax and other contribution payers in Lithuania, the company reports LETA/ELTA.

In the list of energy companies paying the most taxes and other contributions, which was drawn up by the State Tax Inspectorate, the company has moved up one position, occupying the fourth place.
In the list of the country's largest taxpayers published by the tax authority, Inter Rao Lietuva was ranked 25th and paid more than LTL 87.3 million (EUR 25.3 million) of taxes and other fees per year.
In 2013, the company paid a little more than LTL 100 million (EUR 29 million) of taxes to the State Tax Inspectorate account and was the 17th largest taxpayer in Lithuania.
Inter Rao Lietuva is a leading player in the electricity market in the Baltic countries and one of the largest independent suppliers of electricity in Lithuania.
