Lithuania's coronavirus cases hit new daily record of 255, one more person dies

Print version Lithuania on Thursday reported 255 new coronavirus infections, its record daily increase since the start of the pandemic, and one more death from COVID-19, writes LETA/BNS.

This brings Lithuania's total coronavirus count to 6,760 positive cases, the Health Ministry said.
The new fatality brings the overall virus death toll to 110. Another 32 coronavirus-infected patients have died of other causes.
The country currently has 3,635 active coronavirus cases and 2,983 recoveries.
A total of 34,505 people are currently in isolation.
The country has since June 1 registered 333 cases of coronavirus infection contracted abroad.
A total of 867,970 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in Lithuania so far, including 7,823 over the past 24 hours.
