Three Latvians feature in Forbes list of young leading Europeans

Alise Semjonova, a co-founder and UX designer of data visualization tool Infogram, NBA star Kristaps Porzingis and Sabine Pole, a co-founder of Sorry as a Service startup, have been included in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2017 list, Infogram communications adviser Dagnija Lejina informed.

Semjonova is a co-founder and user experience designer of Infogram data visualization tool, which helps people create charts, infographics and maps that are easy to make, share and understand. Infogram is currently used by 2.9 million journalists, students, business and communications professionals. Semjonova is also the initiator of Riga Tech Girls – an organization that aims to educate and inspire women to work in the tech industry.


Porzingis, a rising basketball star playing for the New York Knicks, has been named in three lists: the Entertainment, the Social Stars and, being just 21 – the Youngest. Sorry as a Service co-founder Pole features in the retail and e-commerce category.


Every year Forbes 30 Under 30 celebrates young leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and experts under the age of 30. This year's list includes 600 young leaders from 6 continents and 51 countries.
