airBaltic dissatisfied with unfair treatment at Riga Airport
The tariffs and charges at Riga Airport were changed in late 2009. In early July, airBaltic raised concerns that Ryanair is given preferential treatment at Riga Airport and pays only half of the price per passenger serviced compared to airBaltic. Latvians made 11% more recreational trips with overnight stays in Q2
The survey on the domestic trips of Latvian population conducted by the Central Statistical Bureau show that in the 2nd quarter of 2010 there were 1.1 mln recreational trips with overnight stays which is more by 11% than in the 2nd quarter of 2009.
