Baltic States – CIS, Forum, Lithuania, Logistics, Port, Transport

The goal of these events, i.e. exhibition and congress, was a comprehensive presentation of all kindsof up-to-date transport and logistics systems and related equipment, services provided in  transportation of cargoes and passengers, transport information and maintenance systems. These events were organized by the Ministry of Transport and Economics of Belarus, Belarusian Railways, top transport associations of Belarus.

Ten Klaipeda enterprises participated in the joint exposition: ST Klaipeda Stevedoring Company ( KLASCO),  JCT Klaipėda Stevedoring Company Bega, ST Klaipėdos Nafta , JST Western Stevedoring, JST Arijus, JST „Baltic Shipping, JST BG Logistics, JST Limarko Maritime Agency, JST BPA and Klaipėda Port Authority. Representatives of other Lithuanian companies went to this exhibition as visitors, informed BC representative of public relations at Klaipėda State Seaport Authority Geda Marozaitė.

Silvija Jonkuviene, the chief marketing specialist, and Leila Sujeta, the chief specialist of planning department, presented Port Authority at the exhibition „TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS“.

The Belarusian Transport Congress  held as part of the  exhibition considered issues on the development of Belarusian transport and logistics system and legislation, the key directions and perspectives of the development of transport and logistics of the Republic of Belarus, services of transport and logistics in the customs union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, integration of Belarus into the global transportation market, methods of attraction of investments aimed at the development of transport infrastructure and other relevant issues.
