New Novatek LNG cargo on its way to Lithuania's Klaipeda

new cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's gas company Novatek is on its way to the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda, marking the 47th such cargo in the gas year that started last October. The cargo is expected to arrive over the upcoming weekend, reported LETA/BNS.

The Coral Favia is arriving from Russia's Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk where Novatek has an LNG facility and is currently near Lithuania's shores, according to the vessel tracking websites marinetraffic.com and myshiptracking.com.
According to the schedule of the terminal's operator, Klaipedos Nafta, the next LNG cargo of 10,000 cubic meters is expected this Saturday.
17 large LNG shipments from Norway and four larger shipments from the US have been delivered to Lithuania during this gas year that started in October, 2019 and will end at the end of September.
