Chain hotels in Lithuania saw their average occupancy rate rebound to 16.8 percent in June, from a low of 6.8 percent in May, the business daily Verslo Zinios reported on Thursday, citing data from STR, informs LETA/BNS.

Hotels in Vilnius, however, fared worse than the average: their occupancy stood at 10.7 percent in June, down by 86.7 percent year-on-year.
Hotels in the Baltic Sea report of Palanga say the first month of the summer was not bad for them.
Hotel occupancy in Palanga reached 55-65 percent in June, according to Ingrida Valaitiene, the head of the resort's hotel and restaurant association.
Lithuania was under a nationwide quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic from March 16 through June 17.
