Tet to pay EUR 8.2 mln total in dividends to state and Telia Company

Shareholders of telecommunications company Tet have decided to pay total of EUR 8.2 mln in dividends, LETA was told at the company.

A meeting of Tet shareholders on Friday, December 4, decided to pay out EUR 4.2 mln to the Latvian state and EUR 4 mln Telia Company, which is a Tet shareholder. 


As reported, Tet reported EUR 227.603 mln in turnover for 2019, which is an increase of 7.4% against a year before, while the group's profit dropped 13.3% to EUR 36.202 mln.

Tet shareholders are the Latvian state (51%) and Scandinavian telecommunications group Telia Company’s subsidiary Tilts Communications (49%). Tet Group includes Tet, Citrus Solutions, Lattelecom Technology, Helio Media and Baltijas Datoru Akademija. Tet owns a 23% stake in Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT) mobile operator.

At Friday's meeting, Tet shareholders also decided to remove Juris Gulbis as chairman of the company's management board.
