BC, Tallinn, 31.07.2020.Print version
As a precautionary measure, Finnish food group Paulig is recalling several products in Estonia after the discovery of listeria bacteria in two products in Finland, informs LETA/BNS.

Listeria was detected in two items of the product Gold&Green Nyhtokaura in the course of in-factory checks in Finland last week and the products were recalled in Finland, Paulig said on Friday.

The products in which listeria bacteria was found are not sold in Estonia. However, for safety considerations and as a precaution, all Gold&Green Nyhtokaura products produced in July this year are being recalled.

The products subject to the recall are 240-gram packages of Gold&Green Nyhtokaura Nude, 240-gram packages of Gold&Green Nyhtokaura Tomato, and 300-gram packages of Gold&Green Nyhtokaura Mexico.

Paulig is requesting customers to return said products to the stores where they were bought for a refund. Open packages of the products should be destroyed.

Paulig is offering its apologies. At the Gold&Green factory at Jarvenpaa, Finland in-depth cleaning has been carried out and self-control procedures intensified.
