Covid-19: Swedish manufacturer Hanza AB to lay off 60 employees in Estonian production units

Swedish manufacturing company Hanza Holding AB is to lay off approximately 60 employees in its Estonian production units, informed LETA/BNS.

According to the company, demand for their products has decreased due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, which is why the company decided to optimize the operation of its production units in Sweden and Estonia.
The reorganization of Hanza's Swedish production units concerns some 30 employees.
Hanza group's factories are located in Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Slovakia and China. The company specializes in fine mechanics, electronics and assembly subcontracting. In Estonia, the company has production units in Tartu and Narva.
