Covid-19: Lithuania’s Maxima receives millions of masks, gloves, to supply some to Estonia, Poland

Maxima, one of the largest retail chains in Lithuania, has received an approximately 1.5 mln euros worth shipment containing several millions of disposable face masks and gloves, which will be sold in the stores of the chain and in the pharmacies of Eurovaistine, a pharmacy chain that is part of Maxima group, informed LETA/BNS.

Parts of the cargo will be shipped to Estonia and Poland.
The shipment, which was delivered from China on Monday, contains 3.5 mln face masks and 6.7 mln gloves.
One million masks would be reserved for shop workers and another million masks would be sold to buyers, Maxima said in a press release.
In addition, 300,000 masks will be shipped to Maxima Eesti in Estonia, 600,000 items – to Stokrotka in Poland, 500,000 items – to Euroapotheca, and 100,000 items – to ERMI Group.
