"This applies to countries with an infection rate of more than 25," Aas said at a press conference on Thursday, referring to the rate that indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 residents in the last 14 days.
Aas added that he considers it very important to monitor the state's points of connection. He added that the recent cases of COVID-19 infection on a Tallink ship and in the family of one long-distance driver indicate that there is no reason to lose vigilance.
"There is no reason to say that everything is over and we will open everything and let's no longer impose or maintain any restrictions," the minister said.
