Founded in 2010 under the name Exibea, Eliq has been among the pioneers of developing innovative solutions for energy usage monitoring and optimisation. With the help of Eliq, utility companies can provide end-users with full control over their energy consumption, resulting in increased loyalty and engagement.

“Sustainability is at the core of our business model,“ Håkan Ludvigson, co-founder and CEO of Eliq, explains. “We help utility companies to reinvent themselves as energy services providers, by making it easier for consumers to understand, control and access energy services. These are all necessary steps speeding up the transition to a fossil-free future.”
Software platforms developed by Eliq are used by more than one million consumers worldwide. In addition to the Swedish power giant Vattenfall, energy corporations in Norway, France, Spain, Great Britain and Chile rely on the company’s software solutions. As of October 2020, Eliq had 18 utility customers in 7 countries and a team of 29 people working in offices in Gothenburg and London.
