Covid-19: Shipper Tallink offering Estonians options for returning home via Sweden

Estonians stuck on the German-Polish border due to border closures will be able to return home via Sweden, Estonian shipper Tallink said LETA/BNS.

Tallink is offering the following options for Estonians for traveling to Estonia through Sweden:

- Tallink vessels currently continue operating on the Stockholm-Turku and Stockholm-Helsinki routes. Tickets for these trips from Sweden to Finland can be booked via www.tallinksilja.com .

- The Helsinki-Tallinn route continues to be operated by Tallink with Star and Megastar shuttles, tickets for which can be booked at www.tallink.ee .

- Tallink also enables as a temporary extraordinary measure to admit passengers with vehicles on the Regal Star vehicle operating the Kapellskar-Paldiski route as of today. Tickets are booked over the phone by calling +372 612 8686 of via email to [email protected].

Information about the Swedish port of Kapellskar situated 90 kilometers north of Stockholm is available at https://www.portsofstockholm.com/kapellskar/ .


The travel and booking information remains valid through March 17 or until further notice by Tallink. Up-do-date information is also provided through the company's website and social media channels.
