French institute and French cinematique at the cinema festival "Winter screens" display drawings of Pierre Etaix dedicated to the theme of Tati films, the Vilnius Tourism Information Center reports.

The exhibition takes place from February 6, 2012, till February 28, 2012.

In 1954, while staging the third full-length Jacques Tati film "My uncle", Pierre Etaix, at the time unknown but later famous artist, who was twenty seven years of age, joined the team of artists, writes LETA/ELTA.

Pierre Etaix expresses an idea of a comical situation through drawings. While producing "My uncle" he made an unbelievable number of drawings: funny human beings, decoration sketches and interpretations of cheerful tricks.

The exhibition is free of charge, and is open from Monday to Saturday.
