Ulla Zirne wins Latvia's second medal at Youth Winter Olympics

Print versionThe young Latvian luger Ulla Zirne won bronze at the Youth Winter Olympics 2012 in Austria on Monday, informs LETA.
This is Latvia's second medal at the Youth Winter Olympics.
Miriam-Stefanie Kastlunger of Austria took the gold medal, whereas Saskia Langer of Germany finished in second place.
Altogether, approximately 1,100 athletes from 70 countries participate in the Youth Olympics. Latvia is represented by 16 athletes.
The Youth World Olympics 2012 will continue until January 22.
