Half of Lithuanian cities' residents go to church

Lithuanians, mostly those living in urban areas, are not quite religious, as the latest poll by Prime Consulting Company shows, which revealed that 47.8 percent of those interviewed go to the church only once a year, The Lithuanian Tribune reports referring to Veidas.

According to the survey, 21 percent of Lithuania's residents do not go to Church at all.

More than 12 per cent attend Church once per month, and 11 per cent go on the major religious festivals.

 

Some 80 percent of Lithuanians are claiming to be Roman Catholics, LETA reported.
