Latvian National Theater’s actor Leonids Grabovskis dies

Print versionLatvian National Theater (NT) actor Leonids Grabovskis has died, LETA was informed by NT on July 18.
Grabovskis, born December 3, 1949, joined the NT company in 1975.
He met with considerable praise in his career, shining as Geoffrey in "The Lion in Winter", Black Knight in "Fire and Night", Don Juan in "Much Ado About Nothing", Hlestakov in "Inspector General", among other roles.
He prepared and starred in a number of poetry evenings, issuing his own book of poems twice – in 1998 and 2001, writes LETA.
