During the archaeological works this summer in Estonian Salme, ancient objects dating back to Viking-era have been found, the Estonian national broadcasting corporation ERR reports.
The archaeologists found Viking-era ship rivets and sword fragments, writes LETA.
As reported, ship burial was discovered in Salme village last year with the estimated length of the ship totaling 18 meters and the width 3.5 meters.
In 2008, a smaller ship with an estimated length of ten meters was discovered during excavations in Salme.
