Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet is on a visit to the Vatican on Tuesday and Wednesday, said BC Foreign Ministry press service.

On Tuesday Paet has a meeting with Secretary for Relations with States, or foreign minister, of the Vatican Dominique Mambert. They will discuss Estonia-Vatican bilateral relations. They will also discuss Estonia’s accession to the euro zone and the economic and financial crisis. Possibilities related to Estonia’s giving of humanitarian aid and developments in the environmental sector will also be addressed.

Minister Paet will meet with Pope Benedictus XVI on Wednesday.
