Estonian Meteorology Institute promises minus 32 degrees at the weekend

Print versionAs National Broadcasting reports, Estonian Meteorology and Hydrology Institute (EMHI) warned that the colds at the weekend in Estonia might be minus 30 degree, writes LETA.
The night of Saturday is the coldest in Eastern Estonia and there minus 30 degree cold is expected. During the day, temperatures remain in the range of minus 15-21.
Sunday night and morning, temperatures are forecast to fall to minus 32 already. During the day, the cold ranges from minus 20-23.
Then the colds become milder, but still stay high at night during the following week.
A few days ago EMHI for the first time started posting perceived temperatures, which is the real cold a person feels outside as the wind chill factor is added to it. For example while the temperature in central Tallinn was minus 15 at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, the perceived temperature was minus 21.
