British general: Estonian infantry in Afghanistan fought bravely ‘like tigers’

The chief of the Helmand unit in Afghanistan, Brigadier General Tim Radford stated that the soldiers of the Estonian infantry company Estcoy-8 fought bravely ‘like tigers’ this summer, writes the National Broadcasting.
“The Estonian soldiers have fought like tigers in Helmand this summer – bravely and fiercely,” said General Radford. “Estonian soldiers are very good and they are very well managed,” he stated when meeting with the commander-in-chief of the Estonian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Ants Laaneots.
Radford gave an overview of the security situation and the operations in the Helmand province to the chief of the Estonian Defence Forces who is visiting the Estonian units.
